The starting point for this project was rethinking what use could be made of a space with great potential, but that had been left empty and without a great future, had it been used as an office once again.

Hence the intuition, shared with an enlightened client, to completely transform an entire floor of a prestigious building, located an earshot away from the central Via Roma, into three different lodgings, destined to the new market demands of tourism.
In fact, 3 apartments were built for short stays and fast renting, but with all the attention on design, detail and choice of furnishings, often unseen features in this type of accommodation.

Each unit is around 70 square meters in size and can accommodate up to four people.
Compositional details and styles of the house come alive in the design choices, and the charm of the old building, listed by the Superintendence, coexists with modern solutions, both in terms of system design and use of space.

There is a successful introduction of innovative high performance materials: the floors and part of the walls are covered in Bolon, the sliding door system, the Valcromat tops and the LVT coverings have shown excellent performance, wear & tear resistance and an overall absolute charm.

Many of the furnishings used are deliberately zero-mile products, enhancing the local excellences both in the supply and in the craftsmanship, thus providing the accommodation with references that are international but also linked to the territory, suitable for an ever changing user base.
